Adding Directory URLs
SliQ Submitter Lite lets you add as many directories as you like to your own database stored on disk. Your directories won't be discarded if you download an updated database from our website.Note: It is not possible for customers to add directories to SliQ Submitter Plus.
1. Click the SliQ Start menu (by pressing the round button shown in the picture below)
2. Choose the Add Directory URLs menu option
The Add Directory URLs dialog gets displayed.
Enter a list of directory URLs, one per line.
2. Press the OK button
SliQ Submitter will then check whether the directories exist. The Check URL exists dialog will be displayed and will show a list of the directory URLs being checked and their status. As a directory is checked, the directory URL will appear in the list.
3. Wait for the Directory Analysis Complete dialog to be displayed
3. Press the OK button and begin submitting
Note: When a directory is added, SliQ Submitter tries to find the submit page for the directory so that the submit page is loaded first when you submit to the directory.
On some directories, SliQ will find a page that looks like a submit page but the directory won't accept submissions via that page. Such directories may require you to navigate to a specific category page then press the submit button/ link on the category page in order to submit correctly.
If you don't like the URL/ page, SliQ has chosen as the default page to be loaded for the directory when submitting, you can choose a different page using the Setting a Default Load URL button.
