SliQ Submitter Plus Help - Getting Started

SliQ Submitter Plus supports semi-automatic as well as fully automatic directory submission.

If you want to use fully automatic directory submission, you need to enable Captcha decoding on SliQ's Captcha Support tab before following the instructions below.

Note: SliQ includes a free, inbuilt captcha decoder for a subset of the captcha types it encounters when submitting. However, you need to subscribe to one of the supported online captcha decoding services for all captcha to be decoded for you.

Captcha Support

1. Enter your website details

When you first use SliQ Submitter Plus, a wizard will be displayed to help you enter details for the first website you want to submit. Follow the instructions given in the wizard to enter your website details.

When you have entered the website details, press the Finish button at the end of the wizard.

Handy Tip: The wizard only lets you enter one title and description for a website. To enter more titles and descriptions, edit the website details on the main Directory Campaign tab as described in editing SliQ website details.
2. Choose whether to use Deep Category matching when submitting

Web directories require you to choose a category when submitting, e.g. you might choose to have your website listed in the Real Estate category in a directory.

When SliQ loads a directory, it presents a list of categories supported by the directory, allowing you to make your choice of where to place your listing. When a new directory is loaded, if SliQ finds a category you've previously selected, SliQ will automatically choose that category for you. When you begin making directory submissions for a website, you have two options:-

a. Manually choose categories as each directory is loaded and let SliQ learn the ones you like. After a few - usually 10 directories or so - SliQ will have a pretty good selection to use when the remainder of the directories are loaded.

b. Enable the Deep Category Matching option shown below the website details:

If you enable Deep Category Matching, SliQ will use your keywords to try and find matching categories when a directory is loaded. The advantage of Deep Category matching is that you are likely to have fewer categories to pick manually. The disadvantage is that the categories SliQ picks automatically may be less relevant to the website you are submitting.

3. Press the Fast button in the toolbar

SliQ will load the Fast Submitter interface.

Wait for the first directory to load. Pick a category if SliQ hasn't already picked one for you and then press the Submit button.

Handy Tip: Pressing F9 will also submit the directory form.

4. Repeat step 2 to submit to more directories

Handy Tip: Pressing F2 will skip the current directory without submitting.

Note: To make SliQ automatically submit without pressing the Submit button, check the Auto Submit box on the Fast Submitter interface. If you have enabled Captcha support (see above), Auto Submit will be automatically selected when you load the Fast Submitter interface in step 3 above. Even if Auto Submit is checked, SliQ will not make a submission if a directory category is not selected. If you want SliQ to skip directories where no category is selected and continue with the next directory, check the Auto Skip box on the Fast Submitter interface.
